Thankfulness
It's time to give HIM thanks!
Welcome to this Article about thankfulness.
For the Follower of JESUS,
thankfulness
is their lifestyle. At times, in your busyness, you can forget to give thanks
to the LORD
everyday for every blessing in your life. Let's discuss biblical thankfulness
further.
This is an incredible picture of the oneness of
the FATHER and the SON.
The FATHER is GOD, and
the SON is GOD, both
the FATHER and the SON are
equally GOD! As the time for JESUS
to be sacrificed on the cross for the sins of the world rapidly approached, this
unity between FATHER and SON was witnessed by the entire world.

JESUS,
GOD
the SON,
came in the flesh to die for you, to die in your place to pay your sin debt. You could never have paid your debt on your own no matter how much you tried to accomplish in your lifetime.
You
were conceived in sin, born a sinner, lived a life of sin up to the very hour you
put your faith in JESUS. At that very moment you became a child of GOD, forgiven and given eternal life in HIM. Since that day you have lived doing your very best to resist your sinful nature
and live in HIS SPIRIT.

your eyes on JESUS,
the author and perfecter of your faith, who for the 'JOY'
set before HIM
endured the cross, scorning it's shame, and sat down at the right hand of the
throne of GOD."
Hebrews 12:2

Now
that we have examined a bit of Theology, just how does this apply to your
life? JESUS
was not an errand boy sent from Heaven to pay for your sins! Only
GOD
could take away your sins, and that act had to be by offering
HIS
very life as a sacrifice in your place. Can you name any other person in the whole world that loves you more than that? You cannot!
The LORD
has given you the only possible way to live a life of victory over sin. JESUS gave you the gift of eternal life. What HE
did, HE did out of HIS
love for you, and HIS love will never leave HIS
faithful ones.
Give HIM the kind of thankfulness that costs you something of yourself. Don't intellectualize the gift of eternal life HE has given you. You could never repay
the LORD for all HE
has done for you, it would be foolish to serve HIM
on that basis. Serve HIM out of genuine thankfulness,
you will be glad you do.
Be sure to let your form of expression of thankfulness to the LORD be bold
and from your heart of gratitude for all HE has and
is doing for you. You owe HIM so much more
than a 'silent, good thought'!
Your offering of thankfulness will set you free from doubt, fear and anxiety that you have picked up just
living and working in this world. The degree of thankfulness
you live in each day, will bring about the amount of HIS
'JOY' in your life.
It's time to give HIM
thanks, each and every day of your life.

up, kneel down, sing, dance, drum, flute, play a piano or keyboard or guitar,
praise or shout your thankfulness
to the LORD!
