A S K  G O D

Welcome to this Article on learning to ask.  Everyone needs to learn to humble themselves and ask the LORD for their necessities in life.  A great challenge is to believe that the LORD hears our prayers and HE always answers them.  Does this sound too simple?  Followers of JESUS often lack important things they need by  being bashful or prideful,  "You do not have, because you do not ask GOD."  James 4:2b

"GOD will give you whatever you ask."
John 11:22

Life teaches that if you really want to get ahead in this world you must learn to take care of things yourself.  Remember the saying; "If you want something done right, do it yourself."

Self-reliance is the order of the day.  The harder you try, the more likely you are to succeed in life.  Remember the saying; "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."

Employers are looking for workers with a 'go to attitude'.

All these things program you to concentrate strictly on yourself, your abilities, your gifts and strengths.  At the time when you find yourself failing, empty, next to ruin you loose your hope and vision.  Nobody is harder on you than yourself when you have failed.

Now that we have examined the way of the world, let's take a look at the way of GOD'S Kingdom.  Remember GOD'S Word; ""GOD will give you whatever you ask."  John 11:22

The backbone of this promise is: ask.  As a Follower of JESUS your desire is no to become a great success in this life, but rather a great success in the Kingdom of GOD.  If you only concentrate on this life, you will miss out entirely on GOD'S plans for you.

Set aside your nature desire to accomplish your goals on your own strength and put your trust in GOD.  The LORD will not fail you.  You must face your pride, fear and doubt to succeed.   "Humble yourselves before the LORD, and HE will lift you up."  James 4:10 

Don't be afraid, your FATHER will grant you Kingdom success!  After-all, that is the only success you can cash in at the Bank of Heaven.
