VICTORY II
Fred Schwenk

Joshua 10:10
The LORD threw them into confusion before Israel, who defeated them in a great victory at Gibeon. Israel pursued them along the road going up to Beth Horon and cut them down all the way to Azekah and Makkedah.

Above we find another case that the LORD fights for us.  HE is not a respecter of persons which means HE does not favor one of his children over another.  Yes, it may look like that from our perspective, but from heavens vantage, we are all the same, and all deeply loved and protected.

Not that we don't go through the battles.  In the verse above we see some results of Joshua and his army fighting against five kings and their hordes.  The enemy was completely defeated and no Israelites were harmed.  The LORD killed more with hailstones than Joshua with the sword!  And, HE even answered a prayer to stop the sun in the sky for an entire day!

Just a few hints on what we can do:

Follow the Voice of GOD:
Joshua was where he was supposed to be doing what he was told to do.

Pray for Victory:
One the day of the battle the Word says, "There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the LORD listened to a man. Surely the LORD was fighting for Israel!"

Don't fear the enemy:
The LORD has given your enemy into your hand.  HE will fight with you and for you!

And remember:

JESUS Never Fails!
