Let's continue to talk victory! Do you know how often the Word of GOD uses the word? Wanna see? Click here. Then come back to finish this E-Votion. We will be talking for a while about Victory over this life's system and our entrance into eternity (the Ultimate Victory).
The relationship between the True and Living GOD and HIS people is very strong, sometimes defying our natural understanding. But that is only because we see things from a human perspective. Above, Samson had just killed over 1,000 Philistines with a fresh jawbone of a donkey. Shortly prior to that he had caught 300 foxes, tied them together in pairs and fixed lit torches to their bound tails, sending them through the crops of the Philistines, destroying their food supply. He was a man at war with the Philistines. He was also anointed by the LORD to be a Judge of Israel, who at that time was under the control of the Philistines. After his exploits against the invaders, he was thirsty. So his GOD opened up a hollow place full of (I am sure) the best spring water ever tasted by a man. Folks, I don't know how to break this to you, but, I guess I will have to be blunt! Our GOD is at war! HE was at war against the Philistines who had taken HIS people captive back then, and HE is at war against the darkness and its emissaries who attempt to enslave HIS people today. GOD is not a weak, powerless, anemic phantom who sits around and muses about the misfortunes of HIS children: HE
IS AT WAR! HIS Name is THE LORD OF HOSTS. Hosts means armies. LORD means CAPTAIN, RULER and SUPREME AUTHORITY. That is JESUS. In our time, ninety percent or more is a battle in the Spiritual Realm. We wage warfare with the tools that HE has given us, like Prayer, Praise, Fellowship, HIS Armor, HIS Word. Sometimes the battle becomes physical, as many of you who are reading this know only too well, being persecuted for your faith. Samson made many mistakes and some of them eventually cost him his life, but not before he saw incredible victory. We have the SPIRIT in us to safeguard us against making those same mistakes. I guess the point is to realize how serious the LORD is about you and your faith in HIM. HE risks all for you, HE gave all for you. Won't you join the battle? And remember -
