Ezekiel 3:27b

. . . ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says!’ Those who choose to listen will listen, but those who refuse will refuse, for they are rebels."

Psalm 32

2 Yes, what joy for those
whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt,
whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

There is an old country music song called, "Behind Closed Doors."  Some of the words are . . .

" . . .No one knows what goes on behind closed doors . . . "

Sometimes that is how we live our lives.  We act as though we are OK because our sin is hidden.  Well, I mean hidden from most.  Then as the problem grows worse and worse, it finally gets too big to hide and then everyone knows.

But the strange thing is that we act as though we can hide our sin from the LORDHE sees it all!  HE knows our thoughts!  We can't hide anything from HIM!

But still we act as though everything is "going just great," when the truth is we are suffering under GOD'S loving hand of correction and the consequence of our own behavior.

We can be very knowledgeable, and yet miss the most basic truth of our faith, and that is:

"JESUS loves us no matter what!"           Click here
