Our security is in the LORD and in the LORD only.  In the same way, an evil-doing person can feel secure for a while, but when the LORD says his time is up, he is caught!  The reverse effect can happen with HIS followers.

Even though the world can be very frightening at times, when we run to HIM, HE will bring us close to HIMSELF and pour HIS SPIRIT upon us to protect us.

Believe it or not, one of our areas of rebellion is when we choose our own security above HIS.  If you think about it, we can never make ourselves completely safe.  We would like to think so, but the cold, hard facts are that we can never do it.

Only in HIS care are we secure.  So we should remember that no matter how tough things get, we can always come to HIM, rest in HIS Love and be perfectly protected!
