The Psalms were originally set to music. So the verse above was a verse to a popular song of the day. Have you ever felt like singing, " . . . Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like the water in the summer heat?" Interlude means "brief pause." There used to be a saying that said, "Stop the world, I want to get off . . ." Ever feel like that? Ever feel like an Interlude (brief pause) would be just fine? If you are under HIS Hand of Discipline right now, I would like to encourage you. HIS discipline is the greatest evidence of HIS Fatherly Love we have today in this earth! Proverbs
