Watch your mouth!  True saying!  My parents used to tell me that.  My teachers may have also, can’t remember.  I am sure they did.

They were all correct!  Mouths (read speech) need watching.

So we are to watch our actions and our speech.  Because not one bit of it (bad stuff) will be allowed in heaven.  When we live for the sinful nature, also known in some circles as “human nature,” we oppose the SPIRIT of GOD!

HIS job is to teach us to live for the spirit (our spirit made alive by HIS SPIRIT).  Now I know that many may be depressed in reading this.  You are judging yourself and you come up wanting.

Well, same here.  It is the same for everyone, except for self-righteous people, and that kind of righteousness won’t get you one inch off the ground!

So, what do we do?  Simple.  We live a life of love, and we let the SPIRIT do HIS work!  In the Scripture above, Paul lays out the ground rules.  Now it is the express job of the SPIRIT to help us turn form impurity, immorality and greed, not to mention course talking and foolishness.

By the way, having fun is still OK.  Just have it is a pure way.  Clean jokes are funny!
